I have raised and trained dogs for many years. Due to my now, more confined circumstances, I hope to open up an "information line" for many other animal lovers, like myself, who are just as concerned with their animal's well-being as their own. To give you an example: Among many other breeds,I have had Chihuahuas for many years. I found that scratching can often be a nervous condition. Chihuahuas are very active in their first few years. If they don't have a way to burn off the excess energy, it often manifests in nervous habits and obsessions. Often, the "cure" is simple, like daily walks, or learning to play fetch. Sometimes it is more severe, and a trip to the vet to get an antibacterial lotion may be called for. If you are having behavioral problems with your dog, of any breed, I will be glad to make up a treatment schedule for you. I do this kind of thing for a living, so my services do come at a small fee. I am mostly interested in making sure both you and your pet are happy and healthy. If you can afford a small fee and are interested in making yours and your dog's life happier, please send me a description of the problems you are experiencing, your lifestyle, time spent with dog and away from dog, where the dog spends the "separation" time, etc., and I will try to make up a workable treatment plan for you and your dog. It may have to do with diet, exercise or even "work" for the dog. Sometimes we feel that our new pet just isn't what we expected. This happens often, but can usually be "fixed."
